Biography:
With over 15 years of combined experience in business and counseling, Joanie has launched Career Development Services to help others live more meaningful lives through career fulfillment. Her unique background combines business savvy with a counseling education, to offer her clients a rare blend of coaching and business expertise.
During her tenure in the corporate world, Joanie worked with many Fortune 500 companies such as Johnson and Johnson, Proctor and Gamble, and Monsanto. Through her Fortune 500 exposure, she was able to gain extensive experience in sales, marketing, and training. Along with her corporate experience, Joanie has also worked with small start up companies including two that she developed and started herself. She credits her passionate belief in career planning and development to what she has learned through her experience as an entrepreneur, business women and counselor. Joanie has authored programs on sales techniques and a new book focusing on women and career planning is in the works.
Married for over twenty years and the mother of three children, she enjoys family weekends at the lake house, acting in Community Theater and watching the Minnesota Wild!
Joanie is a certified Job and Career Transition Coach. Her education includes a B.S. degree, graduate work in Psychology at Pepperdine University and a M.S. degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California Lutheran University.
